MIGUEL MARTIN IS AN ARTIST WHO CREATES SITE-SPECIFIC GALLERY INSTALLATIONS THAT INCORPORATE TRADITIONAL OR 'CLASSIC' STILL-LIFE DRAWINGS, MOVING IMAGE, PHOTOGRAPHY AND SCULPTURE TO CAPTURE THE NOSTALGIA OF OBJECTS ASSOCIATED WITH HIS OWN AUTOBIOGRAPHY. OFTEN PLACED IN THE CONTEXT OF A DOMESTIC OR HOMELY SPACE, HIS WORKS FEEL FAMILIAR AND YET ARE STRANGELY FOREBODING.
